Tips for a chart that sticks
Keep it short. Three to five quests you can explain clearly are easier to finish and easier to check than a long list written in a hurry.
Make “done” something you can both see. “Clothes in the basket, books on the shelf” leaves less room for argument than “clean your room.”
Put the reward at the end of the day. One finish line is simpler than a reward for every chore, and it gives the evening a clear shape.
Check together. Pick a moment each day to look at the chart side by side. The bottom row is for your initials.
For the conversation that comes before the chart, read how to stop the daily screen time fight.
